The collection holds the personal papers and selected volumes from the private library of the late Portuguese writer and includes drafts and typescripts of his writings, personal and professional correspondence, notebooks, postcards, diplomas, calendars, diaries, photographs, legal and medical documents, drawings, newspaper clippings, book reviews, and monographs. The José Rodrigues Miguéis Papers are housed at an off-campus climate-controlled storage facility and can be consulted at the John Hay Library by appointment. ![]()
